Defending Your Rights

We invoked arbitration agreement before the Supreme Court, as in M/s Tahal Consulting Engineers Limited v M/s ND Waddar and Company & Ors., Arbitration Petition (Civil) No. 7 of 2023 dated 29 March 2023, Supreme Court, which resulted in the appointment of a retired High Court judge as an arbitrator in an international arbitration. A key part of our strategy involves using the court system to protect our clients’ interests during arbitration. In M/s Sharada Developers v M/s Agarwal Associates Promoters Limited, OMP (I) COMM 8562/2022 & connected matters dated 25 November 2022, Delhi District Courts, we first secured an urgent court order to protect property under Section 9 of the Arbitration Act, and then obtained an injunction from the arbitrator under Section 17 in DIAC No. 6030/03-2023 dated 7 June 2023, showcasing a seamless, dual-forum strategy. Our experience spans a variety of complex disputes, from construction claims, such as in Decopride Infratech Pvt Ltd v Adani Tracks Management Services Private Limited, Arbitration Proceedings No. 8 of 2022 and 27 of 2022 dated 6 March 2023, Gujarat High Court Arbitration Centre to breaches of employment covenants, such as in RV Solutions Private Limited v Ajay Dixit & Ors., Case Ref No. DAC/2375/01/-19 dated 28 June 2020, Delhi Arbitration Centre.

Needless to mention that these are just some examples of our work. For a detailed list of cases and clients that we have represented before the Hon’ble Supreme Court, Delhi High Court etc., you can see our list of reported judgments here.
